Central Bank issued "100th Anniversary of Golden Chervonets" in honor of first Soviet gold coin
The Bank of Russia circulated a commemorative coin, “100th Anniversary of Golden Chervonets,” in honor of the first Soviet gold coin. They began to be minted in 1923 at the Petrograd Mint. According to their parameters, they repeated the "royal" 10 rubles.
The face value of a modern gold coin is 50 rubles. It’s a proof coin. The mass of the precious metal is 7.78 g, and the fineness is 999. The diameter of the circle is 22.6 mm. Circulation - only 1 thousand pieces.
