Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov appreciated competence of Bashkiria in unmanned aircraft

At the XXVI St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the booth of Bashkortostan was visited by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government, Andrey Belousov.

Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov said that SPIEF participants could explore the region's investment, tourism, industrial, scientific, and educational potential. And also get acquainted with the national cyber-physical platform "Berloga" and other breakthrough projects of the republic.

“Bashkortostan is a dynamically developing region. The pavilion of the republic is one of the best at the forum and quite deservedly reflects the successes of the republic. A lot has been done in recent years, thanks to your team and people working in the republic,” Andrey Belousov noted.

The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government also got acquainted with the achievements in unmanned aircraft, including the model of the UAS-200 aircraft.

Recall that on the sidelines of SPIEF-2023, Bashkortostan presented the first Russian-certified heavy helicopter-type drone UAS-200 developed by the Russian Helicopters holding of the Rostec State Corporation. Its mass production is organized at the Kumertau Aviation Production Enterprise.

“By the decree of the President, by September 1, we will approve the national drone project and begin to work closely in this direction. I know the republic already has its competencies in this direction,” Andrey Belousov said.
