This year, 1.2 billion rubles of subsidies were paid to the agrarians of the republic, Prime Minister of the Republic’s Government Andrey Nazarov said on his social media. Since 2018, state support for the agro-industrial complex has amounted to 8 billion rubles.
Farmers could purchase about 16,000 machines and equipment worth 50 billion rubles in five years. The primary support mechanism is the regional program for the modernization of the technical part of the agro-industrial complex, under which agricultural producers are reimbursed for up to 50% of the costs.
The active renewal of the agricultural machinery fleet made it possible to stop the number of machine and tractor fleets reduction, the Bashkir prime minister notes. As a result, the wear rate of equipment has improved.
“Technical modernization is a key factor in increasing productivity, and we must maintain the momentum. The task is to bring the indicator of energy supply in the agricultural organizations of the republic from 180 to 230 horsepower per 100 hectares of sown area in the coming years,” writes the Head of the Bashkir Cabinet.
