Radiy Khabirov held working meeting on socio-economic development of Ufa

In the Ufa Mayor's office, the Head of the region, Radiy Khabirov, held a working meeting on the socio-economic development of the Bashkir capital.

He viewed an exhibition in the City Hall building dedicated to urban development and promising projects in Ufa. In particular, large developers presented the concepts of new residential complexes. Radiy Khabirov stressed the need to simultaneously design social infrastructure facilities on the territories of residential complexes - kindergartens, schools, and clinics.

New development opportunities will open up after the construction of engineering networks in the Zabelye in the western part of Ufa is completed. The prospective housing stock in this area is 16 million square meters.

Radiy Khabirov also examined the new modules for collecting municipal solid waste. Modern containers have some advantages. Their installation does not require a prepared site, and the design has anti-vandal protection and an environmentally friendly waste storage system. The Head of the Republic suggested that the city authorities purchase the first pilot batch of 100 modules to collect and evaluate MSW during operation.

As the Head of Bashkiria stated at the meeting, Ufa sets development trends for other municipalities of the republic.

The main topic of the meeting was preparations for the 450th anniversary of Ufa, which will be celebrated in 2024. Radiy Khabirov outlined a range of issues that need to be addressed.
