Bill of daily rental has developed in Russia
The Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation has prepared a draft law regulating the short-term rental housing market. The document is posted on the federal portal of draft regulations.
It is proposed to establish rules for daily rental housing. They must be approved by "a federal executive body authorized by the government of the Russian Federation."
The need arose after the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation refused to equate the daily rent of apartments with hotel services.
The changes are to come into effect on March 1, 2025.
