Ufa Mayor Ratmir Mavliev reported on the formation of a tourist code for the central part of the city. He said that in 2023 the capital of Bashkortostan was among the Russian Ministry of Economic Development competition winners. The selection of applications for constructing non-capital accommodation facilities was held within the national project "Tourism and hospitality industry" framework.
As a result of the competition, Ufa received a subsidy from the federal budget for 208.8 million rubles. They plan to send them to the arrangement of the city’s tourist center. For these purposes, an additional 4.3 million rubles were attracted from the budget of the republic and 1.9 million rubles from the municipal budget. Thus, the total amount of funds for the project amounted to 213.1 million rubles.
Ratmir Mavliev noted that additional signs of tourist navigation, trade, and fair points in the national style, tourist information centers, stereoscopes and binoculars, and photo zones, light, and architectural objects would appear on the streets of Ufa.
It is planned to conclude contracts for the execution of works before July and complete the installation by early October.
