National project "Healthcare ": another hospital in Bashkiria received new equipment
The Birsk Hospital of Bashkiria received modern medical equipment thanks to the implementation of the national Healthcare project, the press service of the Republican Ministry of Health reported.
This new videoscopic system has two high-definition video bronchoscopes, a narrow-spectrum inspection function, and endophoto fixation.
Experts explained that video bronchoscopy is a modern diagnostic study of the mucous membranes of the trachea and bronchi using a unique optical device. To date, this is still the only method that allows you to directly assess the inner surface of the bronchi, study their configuration, relieve the mucous membrane, and make a biopsy for further analysis if a pathologically altered mucous membrane area is detected.
“The use of modern video bronchoscopes greatly facilitates the detection of direct signs of cancer,” added the chief physician of the Birsk Hospital, Aidar Khamatov.
The national project "Healthcare" was developed at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Bashinform News Agency informed earlier.
