The Head of Bashkiria devoted another post to preparing feed for livestock.
“Our villagers have no time to rest. The sowing season is ending, and the time has come to prepare hay and haylage for livestock wintering. The time factor here plays a vital role. Milk yield and weight gain depend on the quality of the feed.
In total, 610 thousand hectares are allocated for forage crops in Bashkortostan. The base is made up of perennial herbs. They have begun cleaning up in the Kaltasinsky, Ermekeyevsky, Sterlitamaksky, and Meleuzovsky districts.
The agrarians of Bashkortostan set themselves the goal of preparing at least 28-30 centners of fodder units per conventional head of livestock. And this is millions of tons of haylage, hay, silage,” wrote Radiy Khabirov.
