Representatives of small businesses in the Ishimbaisky district of Bashkiria received a subsidy of 2.5 million rubles last year, including co-financing from the republic’s budget of 994 thousand rubles. The Republican Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism reported this.
Five SMEs and two self-employed residents received financial support. As of May 1, 2023, 2060 enterprises were registered in the district, of which three are medium-sized, 47 small, 468 micro-enterprises, and 1542 individual entrepreneurs. The total number of self-employed exceeded 3.2 thousand people.
“The number of employees of small and medium-sized businesses and their share in the total number of people employed in the district’s economy is increasing. According to the results of work for 2022, their share was 70%,” said Tatyana Mikhailova, deputy head of the administration for developing the municipality's economy, entrepreneurship, and investment activities.
