Over 4,000 lamps are to be installed in Bashkiria this summer

On the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov’s initiative to improve outdoor lighting, suspended for three years, is being resumed this year in all 63 municipalities of Bashkiria.

First, attention is paid to the coverage of approaches to social facilities, schools, and kindergartens. It is planned to install more than 4,000 lamps, the Republican Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities reported.

“Municipalities have already identified the streets that need additional lighting. The procedural part of the work will be completed by the beginning of summer, and construction and installation work will be completed before the beginning of autumn,” the ministry informed.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, 200 million rubles will be allocated from the budget of Bashkiria for the program’s implementation this year, and additional funds are being sought.

In addition, since 2019, all lighting elements have been digitized and entered into the system for monitoring and planning work in road infrastructure. This allows you to create a register of lighting objects with detailed information about the terms of their operation and draw up a map of unlit areas.
