“Gas. Oil. Technologies" Exhibition opened with gas pipeline launch in Iglino

Ufa hosted the opening of the Russian Petrochemical Forum and the 31st International Specialized Exhibition “Gas. Oil. Technologies". The opening ceremony started with launching of a distribution gas pipeline for additional gasification of the Zvezdny district in the Iglino.

Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov and Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Sergey Gustov participated in the event.

“More than 39,000 households that have submitted applications are participating in the gasification program, and every 10th application is from the Iglinsky district. Probably, they were waiting for this event more than others - the launch of gas into the gas pipeline of the Zvezdny. More than 800 land plots, 400 houses have already been built on them, which will be able to connect to gas,” said Albert Lukmanov, Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Ufa.

According to the company, the length of the new gas networks is about 18 km. They make it possible to gasify 845 existing and prospective houses in the district under construction in the southern part of Iglino. More than 260 contracts have been concluded with the residents of Zvezdny, and about 180 households have been prepared to receive gas.

The regional gasification program is an important state task, said Sergei Gustov, Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz. The company plans to achieve 100% of the technically possible level of gasification in 35 regions of Russia, including Bashkortostan, by 2025.

“In the Republic of Bashkortostan, a large-scale program for developing gas supply and gasification is being implemented, and another 181 settlements will be gasified. The scale of gasification is also colossal: according to our estimates, 65,000 households are located in gasified settlements, but people in them do not yet use gas. We plan to accomplish all this literally in the next year, and by 2025 - to carry out technically possible gasification of the republic so that everyone can use gas in everyday life,” said Sergey Gustov.
