Gazprom invested about 34 billion rubles in republic last year - Head of Bashkiria

Today in Ufa, a meeting of the interdepartmental commission on the interaction issues between Bashkortostan and Gazprom organizations was held.

Radiy Khabirov noted that the country had achieved good results in social gasification. Since 2021, gas has been brought to the borders of 32.5 thousand households. The possibility of gasification of about 47 thousand houses has been provided.

“We are actively working to develop the gas engine infrastructure, and we are building automobile gas-filling compressor stations. There are already 51 of them. We continue to work on the transfer of transport to gas.

Gazprom's cooperation with the backbone enterprises of Bashkortostan is being strengthened. With UEC-UMPO, the reconstruction of Gazprom-transgaz Ufa compressor stations was completed by installing AL-31ST gas turbine engines, and the development of two prototypes of the AL-41ST engine continues.

In the Sterlitamaksky district, Gazprom LNG Technologies will build the republic's first complex to produce, and ship liquefied natural gas—allotted land.

The total investment of Gazprom enterprises in the republic over the past year amounted to about 34 billion rubles,” said Radiy Khabirov.

Gazprom actively participates in social projects. Dozens of sports facilities have been built as part of the unique Gazprom for Children program. The construction of a sports and recreation complex is underway in the republic’s capital.

Director General of Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Sergey Gustov noted that Bashkortostan has one of the highest levels of gasification in the country.

“Gazprom's investments were doubled. A newly revised program has been approved. Its parameters are the volume of investments of 32 billion rubles, plus about 20 billion investments for gasification. Most importantly, these billions hide 181 new gasified settlements in Bashkortostan and an additional 26.5 thousand households in the republic. Under the gasification program in the republic, 39,000 applications have been collected, 32,000 of them have already been completed,” said Sergey Gustov.
