The 31st international exhibition “Gas. Oil. Technologies” and the Russian Petrochemical Forum will bring together 1,750 participants from 315 companies from Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Iran, and China, the government of Bashkiria told the Bashinform News Agency.
According to the Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovations of the Republic Alexander Sheldyaev, the exhibition “Gas. Oil. Technologies” for 30 years of work has become an authoritative platform for discussing topical issues and making optimal decisions for the further development of the petrochemical complex.
“In Bashkortostan, enterprises are part of powerful holdings - Gazprom, Rosneft, Sibur. These companies conduct an active investment policy. They constantly develop local production and increase the number of jobs in the republic. The Russian Petrochemical Forum will accompany a significant business program that brings together the best industry experts yearly. It provides an excellent opportunity to discuss all current issues with a wide coverage of company and government representatives, scientists, and industry experts,” said Alexander Sheldyaev.
On the forum’s opening day, a car run is planned to visit the historical places of the gas transportation system of the republic. The gas dictation will also take place within the framework of the forum. The event organizers planned for young scientists and future specialists to hold an international student Olympiad, an all-Russian youth scientific and practical conference, "Geological and geophysical studies of oil and gas reservoirs," and a job fair.
The forum will be held at the VDNKh-Expo exhibition complex in the capital from May 23 to 26.
