Foreign country’s representatives actively visit Bashkiria’s stand at Russia-Islamic World Forum

The stand of Bashkortostan, where the republic presents its major projects and enterprises within the framework of the international economic forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum2023", which started in Kazan, is actively visited by representatives of foreign countries participating in the event.

In particular, the stand was visited by the delegation of Qatar. Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of the Republic Margarita Bolycheva spoke about the projects the republic presents at the stand and products produced in Bashkiria according to halal standards.

First Vice Prime Minister - Republican Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy Rustam Muratov noted that during the visit to the stand, an agreement was reached that the delegation of Qatar would pay a business visit to Bashkortostan.

Today the republic has foreign economic relations with 112 countries.

“Last year, Bashkortostan maintained foreign trade relations with 23 countries of the Islamic world. These countries account for about 25% of the total trade turnover of the republic. Given the close relationship with Islamic partners, we are preparing to present to them the potential of our republic. We are confident that the investment, industrial, trade, and economic opportunities we offer will interest our foreign colleagues, which, in turn, will contribute to implementing new projects on the territory of Bashkortostan. The results will not keep you waiting. We are interested in exporting our products and importing especially replacement products and goods. But we already see that the market has rebuilt and reoriented. The republic occupies a leading position in the country regarding industrial potential and investment climate. The enterprises work stably,” Rustam Muratov told journalists.

He says opening trade representations of the republic in other countries helps open branches and joint ventures.

The delegation of Gabon at the stand of Bashkortostan was interested in Bashkir honey and beekeeping products. According to their representatives, studying the republic’s experience in industrial beekeeping will be interesting.
