Oilseeds sowing was completed by 87% in Bashkiria
By the end of the week, more than 87% of the areas planned for oilseeds have been sown in Bashkiria. These crops will be allocated 415,000 hectares in 2023, comparable to last year.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria, in the farms of nine districts of the region, the sowing of oilseeds is completed in 17 - more than 90%.
Sunflower traditionally occupies a significant share in the structure of crops, and it has already occupied 251.1 thousand hectares out of the planned almost 280 thousand hectares.
The area with oil flax is 41.5 thousand hectares (67.6% of the plan), and 34 thousand hectares (88%) are sown with rapeseed.
Mustard and soybeans are also sown. About 30 thousand hectares are planted with them.
