Investment legislation liberalization proposals discussed in Bashkiria

At a meeting of the government of Bashkiria, proposals for the liberalization of investment legislation in the region were discussed. This is necessary to create a favorable business climate in the republic so entrepreneurs can implement their projects without excessive administrative procedures. The press service of the government of Bashkiria reported this.

The republic already has several achievements in this area. There is an apparent decrease in complaints regarding control and supervision activities. This is due to the extension of the moratorium on planned control and oversight activities and the widespread introduction of a risk-based approach and preventive measures.

A survey among entrepreneurs revealed a negative impact on the investment climate of bureaucracy and the limited capacity of municipalities to create the necessary conditions for doing business.

Prime Minister of Bashkiria Andrey Nazarov stressed that to ensure stable and progressive development of the region, it is necessary to reduce administrative barriers and bureaucracy. He instructed the Republican executive authorities to consider the proposals the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs voiced and make appropriate recommendations.
