Registered SMEs increased by 1.6% In Bashkiria

According to the Unified Register of Small and Medium-Sized Entrepreneurship as of April 10, 2023, in Bashkiria, over the past 12 months, the number of registered small and medium-sized businesses increased by 2 thousand. It amounted to 131.3 thousand - 1.6% higher than April 10 last year.

Simultaneously with the growth in the number of SMEs, the institution of the self-employed is actively developing. The number of taxpayers on professional income at the end of March amounted to 138.4 thousand people - 54.6% more than a year ago.

This was reported in the Ministry of Entrepreneurship of Bashkiria. The positive dynamics in the department were explained by the beneficial effect of state support, including within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives."

To help beginners in 12 municipalities, My Business Centers are equipped with networking, coworking, and meeting rooms. The Center provides more than 150 services: information and consulting, educational, property, etc. This year, the Center's consultants provided over 2,000 services in the "single window" format.

An effective tool for supporting entrepreneurial initiatives is the institution of business sheriffs. For the first quarter of 2023, they considered 1064 projects. The total amount of declared investments is 40.4 billion rubles. 217 projects are being implemented, and 865 new jobs have been created. The total cost of projects reaches 6.5 billion rubles.

Within the framework of the national project, three regional projects are being implemented in Bashkortostan: "Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses", "Support for the self-employed," and "Pre-acceleration". This year, 694.5 million rubles are provided for their implementation, 680.6 million rubles from the federal budget, and 13.9 million rubles from the regional budget.
