

From January 1, 2024, the minimum wage (minimum wage) will be more than 19 thousand rubles. According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, a draft law on this has been prepared in the State Duma.
Now the minimum wage is 16 thousand 242 rubles. The deputies proposed to increase it by three thousand rubles - up to 19,242 rubles. This amount has already been agreed upon with the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation.
MRO is constantly changing. So, in 2022, it increased twice - from January 1 to June 1. At the beginning of 2022, the decision to increase the minimum wage was made considering the restrictions associated with the pandemic. By the end of the year, the situation changed, and the amount was increased, taking into account the impact of sanctions measures on the well-being of citizens.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency informed that from January 1, 2024, the minimum wage would be indexed in Russia by 18.5%. This was announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking at the State Duma with a report on the work of the government. The President of the Russian Federation said about raising the minimum wage in February.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, in Bashkiria, from January 1, 2023, for employees of the non-budgetary sphere of the region, the minimum wage, taking into account the regional coefficient, amounted to 19.743 thousand rubles. (+12.3%), for "state employees" - 18.678 thousand rubles. (+6.3%)
