A decree of the Russian Government defines the priority areas of projects, the implementation of which will contribute to the achievement of technological sovereignty and will allow for the structural adaptation of the economy. These are aviation, automotive, railway, medical, oil and gas, agricultural, specialized engineering, machine tool, shipbuilding, pharmaceuticals, chemical, electronics, and energy. There are 13 directions on the list, the press service of the Russian Government reports.
In the aviation industry, projects will be implemented to create civil and cargo aircraft, drones, spacecraft, and satellites. In the medical industry, the creation of pacemakers, prostheses, surgical instruments, lung ventilators, and other equipment is recognized as a priority. In agricultural engineering - the production of domestic combines, tractors, and components for them. Priority areas include industries where the localization of production is now less than 50%. In addition, it provides industry areas that are critical for ensuring technological sovereignty.
The document also defined priorities for projects of structural adaptation of the economy to modern realities. They are necessary for creating or modernizing infrastructure, allowing transport and logistics flows to friendly countries to reorient. Such projects, in particular, include the construction of seaports and shipyards, the creation and development of industrial technology parks, the construction of customs warehouses, and services for the transportation of various products.
Projects within the priority areas will be able to count on a unique approach of banks when approving loans, a reduced rate on them, and more active participation of development institutions. This will provide up to 10 trillion rubles of additional financing for expanding promising industries. It will make it possible to replace the supply of scarce materials, components, and equipment, reorient transport and logistics flow, and produce competitive products at domestic enterprises.
