Agricultural products exporters can receive preferential loans in Bashkiria

Exporters of agricultural products can receive preferential loans, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria told Bashinform News Agency.

The reception of documents has begun. They are accepted by agricultural product producers (except for rural credit consumer cooperatives), organizations, and individual entrepreneurs who produce process products and then send them for export.

As emphasized in the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria, the agreement will allow exporters of agricultural products to receive preferential loans at up to 5 percent per annum.

Exporters of such products can expect to receive a loan of up to 1 billion rubles for crop production, animal husbandry, and fish farming, and up to 5 billion rubles for the development of processing agricultural products, wild plants, and canning of fish, crustaceans, and mollusks. The selection will be carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.

“Today, the Bashkir agro-industrial complex produces more products than our population consumes in most areas. To grow further, we need to increase the export of products, - said Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture of Bashkiria Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. — Today we are actively looking for sales markets, these are our friendly countries. We are expanding the range of export goods, working to ensure that they meet the requirements of the counterparty countries. Naturally, this requires some preparation and costs. Therefore, we must have such a tool to support active exporters as concessional lending.”

Acceptance of documents for obtaining preferential loans will end on December 8, 2023.
