According to the NBCH, the issuance of consumer loans in Bashkiria in February decreased 3.4% compared to January (less by 1,000 - to 28,727).
At the same time, the average size of a consumer loan in the republic increased by 19.4% - to almost 275.73 thousand rubles.
Across the country, the number of consumer loans issued in February decreased by 4% to 0.88 million compared to January and by almost 30% compared to February 2022. The average size of loans for purchasing consumer goods in the most prominent Russian cities amounted to 294.2 thousand rubles (+16% compared to January).
The issuance of consumer loans has been declining for the third month in a row. NBCH notes: on the one hand, borrowers refrain from debt obligations. On the other hand, banks prefer to provide loans with a high average check to customers with a good rating, analysts of the bureau comment.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the issuance of consumer loans in the region decreased by 25%: in January 2022, 38.88 thousand were issued, and in January 2023 - 29.2 thousand.
