"Cities with a favorable environment" category include 16 cities of Bashkiria
16 cities of Bashkiria were included in the "cities with a favorable environment" category. This list contains: Ufa, Tuymazy, Dyurtyuli, Agidel, Baymak, Sterlitamak, Belebey, Ishimbay, Yanaul, Sibay, Oktyabrsky, Birsk, Meleuz, Salavat, Neftekamsk, and Beloretsk, said Acting Minister of housing and communal services of the region Irina Golovanova at an operational meeting of the government in the Republic Management Center.
As the head of the department noted, over the past 4 years, the share of cities with a favorable environment in Bashkiria has increased from 33% to 76%, and the number of towns with an excellent urban environment - from 7 to 16. According to the results of 2022, five cities of the republic lacked 1 point to move in the category of "cities with a favorable environment".
According to Irina Golovanova, the republic ranks 3rd among the subjects of the Volga Federal District regarding the share of cities with a favorable environment and 4th in the Volga Federal District regarding the average value of the urban environment quality index.
