

Annual inflation in Russia from March 28 to April 3, 2023, slowed to 3.29%. This is stated in the review of the current price situation prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
“In the week from March 28 to April 3, 2023, the price increase was 0.13%. In annual terms, the price growth rate declined to 3.29%. Prices for food products rose by 0.17% against rising prices for fruits and vegetables. For other food products, the growth rates of prices remained practically at the previous week’s level. In the non-food segment, the minimum price growth remains (at 0.03%). In the service sector, prices rose by 0.19% due to the rise in the cost of air tickets for domestic flights and an increase in the growth rate of prices for personal services,” the review notes.
According to the official forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development, inflation in the Russian Federation in 2023 will be 5.5%.
