Apartment buildings common property maintaining rules changed In Russia

The government of the Russian Federation made changes to the rules for maintaining the common property in an apartment building, approved by a decree of August 13, 2006. The corresponding resolution No. 480 of March 27, 2023, was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin.

These changes oblige management companies to distribute the amount of the recalculation of fees for common house needs in equal shares throughout the year. According to the signed document, the amount of the recalculation is taken into account in equal shares as part of the payment for communal resources consumed in the use and maintenance of the common property during the year following the billing year.

As it became known to Bashinform News Agency, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the republic continues to receive appeals from citizens on the issue of the period of recalculation for a communal resource for “maintenance of common house property” for 2022. With the same question, the Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities of the Republic of Belarus applied for clarification to the Ministry of Construction of Russia.
