

Prime Minister of Bashkiria Andrey Nazarov, speaking with a report on the results of the activities of the government of the republic for 2022 in the State Assembly of Bashkiria, talked about the state of the labor market in the region. He noted that the republic has a record-low unemployment rate of 3.4%, and 1.5 billion rubles were allocated to reduce tension in the labor market.
The average salary in Bashkiria increased by 16%, totaling 48,349 rubles in 2022. Over the past 3 years, in terms of wage growth, the republic has risen from 10th place in the Volga Federal District to 4th. Bashkiria is one of the few regions that have established a minimum wage for workers in the non-budgetary sector. Today it is 19,743 rubles.
