Two asphalt concrete plants produced 35 tons of asphalt mixture in three days in Bashkiria
The first asphalt plants started operating on March 25, two weeks earlier than usual in Bashkiria. The asphalt plants of Karmaskaly and Sterlitamak produced 15 and 20 tons of mixtures, respectively, in three days of operation. An asphalt plant was launched in Birsk on March 27. Now it heats bitumen and will start producing asphalt one of these days, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic reported.
In early April, all 27 asphalt plants of the Bashkiravtodor Company (the main contractor for the construction and repair of roads in the region) will begin to operate at total capacity. At temperatures above zero, you can massively work with hot asphalt. At sub-zero temperatures, cold asphalt is used.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, 6,707 defects have been identified on regional and inter-municipal roads in the republic, of which 3,221 have already been eliminated. Work is carried out around the clock.
