Small and medium-sized businesses turnover increased by 9% in Bashkiria in 2022
The turnover of small and medium-sized enterprises of the republic increased by 9% compared to 2021 and amounted to 693.4 billion rubles, the Republican Ministry of Entrepreneurship reported. In this figure, 502.5 billion rubles are accounted for by small businesses and 169 billion rubles - by medium ones.
The leader in terms of turnover is traditionally to trade, which accounts for 39.7% of revenue - 287.7 billion rubles.
Small and medium-sized businesses last year shipped goods of their production and provided services on their own for 379.5 billion rubles (+21.6% by 2021).
This year, the turnover of republican small and medium-sized enterprises is planned to increase to 750 billion rubles, the ministry noted.
It should be clarified that these turnover figures do not consider micro-enterprises' contribution. As of December 2022, the latter accounted for 96% of the number of SMEs — by adding the self-employed to this category. As Bashinform News Agency reported, according to the results of 11 months of 2022, 4.3 thousand small companies and 335 medium ones worked in the republic. Micro-enterprises - 121.7 thousand, of which 115 thousand were self-employed.
