Russian IDF will double soft loans for several programs implemented jointly with regions

The Supervisory Board of the Federal Industrial Development Fund (IDF) decided to increase the maximum loan amount from 100 million rubles up to 200 million rubles under the federal programs "Development projects", "Parts", and "Labor productivity". They are financed jointly with regional IDFs, which operate in more than 80 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Another innovation: regional funds now participate in the share of 10% of the loan instead of the previous 30%. It is assumed that this will make it possible to attract investors more actively to the regions, even with a small fund size.

“Even with a relatively small budget of the regional fund, for example, 200 million rubles, due to the federal leverage, another 1.8 billion rubles, the economy of the subject can receive a total of 2 billion rubles. This money can be used to support dozens of industrial enterprises under co-financing programs, which will make a tangible contribution to the region’s development,” said Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The IDF pays attention mainly to the development of medium-sized manufacturing businesses. In the regions, many small companies, by federal standards, are aimed at creating the production of import-substituting products, localizing components for other enterprises, and introducing the best available technologies. The federal cabinet notes that such projects are critical drivers for developing regional economies.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, last year, 33 industrial projects in the republic received support for 11.2 billion rubles - 1.8 billion rubles more than in 2021.
