Head of Bashkiria instructed to liberalize investment legislation urgently

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, instructed to liberalize the investment legislation of the region urgently. He announced the corresponding instruction at the operational meeting of the government in the Republic Management Center.

“I ask you to prepare proposals for significant liberalization of our investment legislation, especially regarding financial measures that we provide and land allocation. This is the basis,” Radiy Khabirov stressed.

Today, about 60 percent of the land in the republic is out of business circulation, Bashinform News Agency informed.

According to the Head of Bashkiria, one cannot “sit on this earth” and be afraid that someone will cheat in the event of liberalization.

“Yes, it's probably possible. But for the most part, we must create quick conditions without aggravating demands. Now is not the time. If, at this time, a person is trying to do something, the land should be given to him as quickly as possible. Maybe there are scammers somewhere. But then it is necessary, if the land is not used, to take it back just as quickly and think over a scheme of how to do it. The land must be in circulation. What we have happening now does not correspond to the current situation. So I'm waiting for suggestions. The deadline is April 10 or 11. The task is accelerating as much as possible,” said Radiy Khabirov.
