

Since the beginning of this year, the Rosselkhoznadzor department for Bashkiria has controlled the export of more than 9227 cubic meters of sawn timber to countries near and far abroad. This was reported in the press service of the supervisory department.
Samples of lumber: jointed and edged boards, timber, furniture products, and timber of coniferous and deciduous trees have passed a special laboratory examination.
“According to the results of examinations, no dangerous quarantine organisms have been identified in the products of the timber industry complex of the region,” emphasized the department of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Republic. Quarantine products meet the requirements of importing countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, China, and Uzbekistan - in total, eight countries.
As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, in general, in 2022, Bashkiria exported more than 124.3 thousand cubic meters of timber to 15 countries worldwide.
