The Russian government has simplified the procedure for placing summer cafes.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, a resolution was signed to expand the list of objects, for the placement of which it is no longer necessary to register the rights to land plots.
The updated list, in particular, includes verandas for arranging street cafes and sites for placing construction equipment and materials during current or major repairs of buildings.
“Now owners of restaurants or cafes can equip a site adjacent to the main building without additional procedures. This will be possible if the land under the new seats is in the state or municipal ownership and has not previously been provided for other purposes. Such a measure will help support entrepreneurs working in the field of public catering,” the Russian government said in a statement.
In addition, this innovation will make it possible to carry out significant or current repairs of buildings faster since builders can place the necessary equipment and construction materials near the work site.
