Ministry of Industry of Bashkiria plans to raise the industrial production index (IPI) by 3% by the end of the year, said acting Head of the department Timur Gerasimov at the operational meeting of the Republican government (in 2022, the growth was 2.4%). His report concerned the collegium of the Ministry of Industry, held in Tuymazy. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Albert Karimov, director of the Association of Clusters and Technoparks of Russia Andrey Shpilenko, heads of relevant departments of the Ulyanovsk, Samara, Orenburg regions, Chuvashia.
The event participants visited the opening of a new production facility of the first in Russia furniture cluster of Korona LLC, examined the production site of Uraltekhnostroy-Tuimazykhimmash JSC, which produces technological equipment for oil and gas processing, oil and gas production, metallurgy, and nuclear energy enterprises.
They also visited the site of the Tuymazinsky Concrete Truck Plant, the only manufacturer of truck-mixing equipment in Russia. The plant will become a resident of the industrial park "Master". Board members also visited its construction site.
At the extended meeting, the concept of strategic development of the republic’s industry for the medium term was presented. In Bashkiria, it is planned to create a competence center for fire and rescue equipment and two industrial clusters, one joint with enterprises of the Donetsk Republic.
Together with the Eurasian REC, the Ministry of Industry is organizing a strategic session where scientists and specialists will try to work out solutions for scientific and technological development, including import substitution.
