During the visit of the official delegation of Bashkiria to Iran, the country was visited by 75 entrepreneurs of the republic, who, in two days, held more than 250 meetings with representatives of Iranian business. Contracts totaling $5 million have already been signed, and the rest are being worked out, said the Republican Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities Margarita Bolycheva, at the operational meeting of the government of Bashkiria in the Republic Management Center.
Among the agreements reached is the creation in Bashkiria of a joint production of children's toys, the supply of high-tech equipment for drilling wells made in Bashkiria, the collection of lubricants, gas turbine engines, instruments, and others. The possibilities of manufacturing products of Iranian brands in the republic and creating a joint venture in Iranian Isfahan were discussed. There are agreements to send wood from Bashkiria to Iranian furniture manufacturers. The Iranian side is also interested in the supply of agricultural products and mineral fertilizers from Bashkiria.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that Iran was ready to conclude a contract for the supply of Halal beef from Bashkiria.
