Bashkirian enterprises signed export agreements with Iranian companies for $5 million

During a business visit to Iran, organized within the national project "International Cooperation and Export", the companies of Bashkortostan signed agreements for about $5 million.

The republic’s enterprises agreed to provide services in drilling oil and gas wells, lubricants, industrial equipment and instruments, oil and gas production equipment, lumber, frames and finished furniture, dairy products, cereals, and sunflower oil.

“The visit of enterprises of Bashkortostan to the Islamic Republic of Iran turned out to be very productive. For 3 days, 75 representatives of 30 republican companies held more than 250 meetings with Iranian partners and, upon returning to the republic, will work out the details of contracts to further establish cooperation,” said Margarita Bolycheva, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of the Republic.

Iranian enterprises expressed interest in the services of Bashkir companies in the exploration and drilling of horizontal and directional oil and gas wells and flow meters for port equipment manufactured by enterprises of the republic. The Iranian side, in turn, is ready to supply unmanned aerial vehicles to Bashkortostan for chemical treatment of crop areas, sets of equipment for poultry farming, dried fruits, nuts, and sweets.

Iranian enterprises plan to participate in the 31st international specialized exhibition “Gas. Oil. Technologies-2023” in Ufa from 23 to May 26 this year. In response, the delegation of the Republic of Bashkortostan plans to present the industrial achievements of the region at the 5th international exhibition of export opportunities of the Islamic Republic of Iran Iran Expo 2023, which will be held in Tehran from May 7 to 10 this year.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that from March 11 to March 14, an official delegation of the republic visited Iran under the leadership of the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov.

At the end of 2022, the Islamic Republic ranks 12th in the foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
