Bashkiria attracted 1.5 billion rubles of federal funds through national project "Ecology"

Bashkortostan attracted more than 1.5 billion rubles of federal funds in 2022 as part of the implementation of the national project "Ecology". The republic has made progress in the issue of including the Ufakhimprom territory in the state register of objects of accumulated harm.

“This work is gradual. More than 8 thousand samplings were carried out by Rosprirodnadzor together with our ministry, and Ufakhimprom plots were put on cadastral registration. Work continues on water bodies. In particular, we continue to clear the Dema River from Mikhailovka to Nizhegorodka. We managed to attract the largest subsidies from the federal center, for which we could purchase 11,452 containers for separate waste collection. In the subsoil use field, we achieved a moratorium on the production of alluvial gold in the Trans-Urals,” Niyaz Fazylov, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Bashkortostan, told the Bashinform News Agency.

The critical task of the department for 2023 is 100% execution of all activities of the national project.

“This year, the maximum task is to join the General Cleaning project with the reclamation of the territory of Ufakhimprom. We will carry out the modernization of large inter-municipal complexes for the processing and sorting of waste. We must build waste disposal facilities in Tuymazinsky, Belebeevsky, Ishimbaysky districts, and Sterlitamak,” Niyaz Fazylov said.
