Small business’s export contracts increased by 20% in Bashkiria in 2022

At the end of last year, 118 small and medium-sized businesses, with the support of the Export Support Center of the Republic of Belarus, signed export contracts for almost $125 million. Compared to 2021, this amount increased by 20%, Prime Minister of Bashkiria Andrey Nazarov writes on his social media.

“Foreign economic activity is not only for large corporations. We actively involve small and medium-sized businesses in it. The task of the Export Support Center is to help small and medium-sized enterprises enter foreign markets. For this, various tools are used: participation in business missions and foreign exhibitions, placement of products on world electronic trading platforms, training in the basics of export activities, etc. In 2022, more than 1,000 SMEs benefited from such support,” he said.

This includes the sale of goods on electronic trading platforms. As Bashinform News Agency reported, 56 republican companies entered the marketplaces and earned about $2.8 million. Based on the exhibitions and foreign business mission results, 120 SMEs signed export contracts for $5.7 million.
