The volume of investments in the economy of Bashkortostan at the end of 2022 increased by 5.9 percent and reached 512.4 billion rubles. Growth rates exceed the national average.
“We have been maintaining a positive trend in investment since 2019. Over the past four challenging years, investments have grown by 40.2 percent, the highest growth in the Volga Federal District. We are working hard to create comfortable conditions for business - priority development areas, SEZs, and industrial parks. We are considering support programs, benefits, and preferences,” wrote the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, on his social media.
Regarding investments, Bashkortostan retained second place in the Volga Federal District.
Recall that the republic has been ranked fifth for two years in a row in the National rating of the state of the investment climate in the regions of Russia, which the Agency annually forms for Strategic Initiatives (ASI).
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that in 2022, 27 new investment projects with a planned investment volume of more than 76 billion rubles were considered at the “Investment Hour” session only through the industry.
