Red Wings airline launched direct flights from Ufa to Yerevan on March 31, Alexander Klebanov, Minister of Transport and Roads of Bashkiria, announced on his Telegram channel.
“We worked together with the Red Wings airline. We plan to launch the first flight in this direction from March 31,” the Head of the Republican Ministry of Transport wrote. “Comfortable SSJ100 liners will fly to Yerevan.”
Flights to Armenia will be operated on Fridays, in the opposite direction - on Saturdays.
“I note that the capital of Armenia will become the fifth international destination in the Red Wings route network from Ufa. The airline also flies to Almaty, Antalya, Minsk, and Istanbul,” Alexander Klebanov added.
As Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, air traffic between Bashkiria and Belarus resumed on March 6.
We also recall that on February 16, another Russian airline launched a flight program from Ufa to Dushanbe. Direct flights from Ufa to Samarkand started on February 17.
