Industry development strategic concept has been developed in Bashkiria

Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic - Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovations of the Republic Alexander Sheldyaev said that on behalf of the Head of the Region Radiy Khabirov, the Ministry of Industry and Energy of Bashkortostan formed the concept of strategic development of the industry. One of the primary tasks is to strengthen technological sovereignty.

At the same time, traditional industries of specialization will be considered as industry priorities - fuel and chemical industries, mechanical engineering and machine tool building, metallurgy, light industry, pharmaceuticals, furniture production, and wood processing.

“It is necessary to ensure the sustainable development of basic industries, to form new growth points that will help ensure the technological sovereignty of Bashkortostan and Russia as a whole,” Alexander Sheldyaev explained.

The Head of the Region instructed to organize a discussion of this document with the participation of the expert community.

“The presented concept must be synchronized with the work of the world-class Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center and other development institutions, including federal ones,” said Radiy Khabirov.
