18 interregional flights from Ufa will receive budget funding in 2023

From 2021 to 2023, work was carried out to increase the program for subsidizing regional air transportation, co-financed from the budget of Bashkiria. The program includes 18 areas, of which 11 are co-financed from the budget for 131 million rubles in 2023.

For each invested ruble of subsidies from the budget of the republic, 4.5 rubles of external investments are attracted for the transportation of passengers. With increased contributions for 2023 to 131 million rubles, the external investment will amount to more than 590 million rubles annually.

More than 3.6 million passengers were served on domestic routes in 2022, which is 8% higher than in 2021 and accounts for 89% of the total passenger traffic at Ufa Airport.

Flights were operated to more than 45 domestic destinations. The passenger traffic showed the highest growth rates on regional flights - +19%.

Thanks to the development of the regional program, 60% of flights are operated bypassing Moscow, which is 10 percentage points higher than the target set by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation in terms of increasing the share of direct interregional air routes.
