Backbone enterprises will receive subsidies for servicing loans
By order of the Government of the Russian Federation, more than 21.4 billion rubles will be allocated to subsidize the interest rate on loans as part of the program to support systemically essential organizations in industry and trade in 2023. The order has been published on the government website.
This decision will allow maintaining the preferential rate on loans taken in 2022 to replenish working capital. It will affect almost 800 borrowing enterprises. The program to support industry and trade backbone organizations was launched in March 2022. Within its framework, such organizations had access to loans at a reduced rate to support current activities. One enterprise could receive up to 10 billion rubles a year, and a group of companies - up to 30 billion rubles. Borrowed funds made it possible to ensure the smooth operation of enterprises in the current economic situation.
