Air communication between Bashkiria and Belarus has resumed. Today, Red Wings Airlines launched its first regular flight from Ufa to the hero city of Minsk. This was reported in the press service of the Ufa airport.
Flights will be regular - once a week, on Mondays.
Travel time will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
Negotiations are underway to increase the frequency of flights from Ufa-Minsk, Bashinform News Agency informed earlier.
As the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, has repeatedly stated, direct flights from Ufa to Minsk are a matter of principle.
“Close partnership relations have developed between our republic and Belarus. We have established strong trade, industry, culture, and tourism ties. We plan to develop them further. We expect another serious driver for this will be the forum of the two countries regions, which will be held in Ufa in June”, the Head of Bashkiria noted.
We also recall that on February 16, another Russian airline launched a flight program from Ufa to Dushanbe. On February 17, direct flights "Ufa - Samarkand" started.
