500 million rubles were allocated to employers in Bashkiria to compensate for labor protection measures in 2022, the press service of the regional branch of the Social Fund of Russia reported.
“Now we are starting a new campaign to finance measures to reduce industrial injuries and occupational diseases,” the press service of the regional branch of the Fund told Bashinform News Agency.
Employers can allocate from 20 to 30 percent of the insurance premiums for compulsory social insurance to measures to prevent occupational risks.
Last year, employers allocated most of the funds from the total funding for mandatory periodic medical examinations. Clinical examination is critical because it helps identify workers' severe diseases early and prevents negative consequences.
Interest in the health resort treatment of employees is growing every year. In this case, the amount can be increased up to 30 percent. Employers allocated 126 million rubles for this measure.
Sanatorium-and-spa treatment was also given to those employed with harmful and dangerous production factors. Employers of Bashkiria allocated 66 million rubles for this measure.
Enterprises and organizations purchased personal protective equipment, conducted a special assessment of working conditions, and implemented measures to prevent COVID-19. Employers can independently decide the most appropriate for them to spend targeted funds and in what amounts.
“After implementing all the declared measures, before December 15 of this year, employers must provide documents confirming the expenses. They can be sent faster and more conveniently through the Unified Portal of Public Services www.gosuslugi.ru both independently through the “Personal Account” and a legal representative,” summed up the regional branch of the Social Fund.
