

114 projects are being implemented using infrastructure budget loans in the Volga Federal District, said First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin. Another 21 projects are under preparation.
He attributed to the largest, including the construction of a transport interchange in Ufa, a metro in Nizhny Novgorod, and a bypass road in Tolyatti with a bridge across the Volga.
Among the projects put into operation are 46 utility infrastructure facilities, 44 road construction facilities, 9 transport infrastructure facilities, 3 industrial parks, industrial technology parks, special economic zones, 2 social infrastructure facilities, 4 public transport purchases, and 6 technological connections to engineering networks.
Ilshat Shagiakhmetov, General Director of the Territorial Development Fund, said that infrastructure budget loans were provided to 13 regions of the Volga Federal District. The total amount of allocated funds is more than 206.5 billion rubles, of which 70.2 billion rubles were already disbursed in 2021–2022.
Thus, 13 engineering, communal, and road infrastructure objects were implemented in Chuvashia, the Penza region, and Tatarstan. Purchased 198 buses - for the Kirov Orenburg regions and Bashkortostan.
The total volume of infrastructure budget loans in the Russian Federation for 2021-2025 is 1 trillion rubles. At the same time, according to the selection rules, each Russian Federation subject independently determined priority projects for implementation.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, the buses were purchased to connect neighborhoods with the center of Ufa. First, 63 buses with a capacity of up to 105 people were purchased at the auction, and 7 more were purchased using the funds saved at the auction. The total cost of 70 buses amounted to about 1 billion rubles.
