Bashkiria hit Top 3 regions of financial support for small and medium-sized businesses

The press service of the Russian government reported that Bashkiria hit the Top 3 regions of financial support for small and medium-sized businesses at the end of 2022.

In the country as a whole, small and medium-sized businesses attracted 812.5 billion rubles of concessional loans last year, taking advantage of the guarantees and guarantees of the participants in the national guarantee system. More than 44,000 entrepreneurs benefited from state support within the framework of the implementation of the national project for the development of SMEs.

The list of leading regions in terms of the increase in financial support for small and medium-sized businesses in 2022 was headed by the Krasnodar Territory. The province increased its volume compared to 2021 by 2.5 times - up to 31.8 billion rubles.

Moscow and the Nizhny Novgorod region share second place with a 2-fold increase - 139.4 billion and 22.2 billion rubles, respectively.

The third place is occupied by Bashkiria, where the volume of financial support increased by 1.9 times over the year and reached 21.1 billion rubles.

“The volume of guaranteed loans last year increased by 68% compared to 2021. At the same time, the number of SMEs that received this support measure increased by 2.5 times. This was achieved by improving the guarantee mechanism, expanding the use of the guarantee instrument, and revising the requirements for the activities of regional guarantee organizations. The anti-crisis changes made by the Bank of Russia to the lending stimulation program were also of great importance,” said Andrey Belousov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.

Most financial support was provided to small and medium-sized businesses in manufacturing - about 187.5 billion rubles, as well as in agriculture (55 billion rubles), transportation and storage (53 billion rubles), hotels, and catering (19.5 billion rubles).

The National Guarantee System, operated by the SME Corporation, helps entrepreneurs obtain bank financing through guarantees and guarantees. For them, you can apply to banks - participants in the mechanism of guarantees of the SME Corporation and regional guarantee organizations.

The national project to support small and medium-sized businesses was developed by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Bashinform News Agency informed earlier.
