Bashkiria will launch single mortgage with reduced rate

Unified Mortgage Program will be launched in six regions of the Volga Federal District, including the Republic of Bashkortostan, in 2023. The Financial Institute for Housing Development DOM.RF is preparing to launch. Sergey Ovsyankin, deputy director of the DOM.RF division "State programs in the housing sector" announced this at the conference "Development of housing construction in the Volga Federal District".

“The Unified Mortgage will combine federal programs such as Preferential”, “Family”, and “IT Mortgage”, operated by DOM.RF, with an additional subsidy from the regions,” said Yegor Rodin, Acting Minister of Construction and Architecture of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

It is planned that the program will reduce the marginal rate on preferential mortgages for IT professionals. More than 1.8 thousand families in the country will be able to improve their living conditions with the program’s help, Bashinform News Agency reports.

“One of the main tasks of DOM.RF is to improve people's standard of living, including through mechanisms that make it more affordable for Russians to purchase housing. Thanks to the unified mortgage program, residents of some regions of the Volga region can get mortgages at a reduced rate. This is significant savings on monthly payments and the total overpayment on loan. We expect the program’s geography to expand in 2023 throughout the country significantly, " Sergey Ovsyankin.

Funds can be used to purchase an apartment in a house under construction or a finished house from the developer, as well as for individual housing construction, the purchase of a private house from the developer, or a land plot with further construction of the house.

The Single Mortgage Program was launched in 2021. Since its launch, 23 regions have joined it, including the Republic of Bashkortostan. DOM.RF provides a comprehensive solution for areas and credit institutions to support the program - from the receipt of an application for consideration to the issuance of a loan. The tool for the implementation of the Unified Mortgage is the Unified Information System for Housing Construction.
