Prime Minister of the Republican Government, Andrey Nazarov, spoke at a meeting on implementing the national project "International Cooperation and Export" under First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov. The participants discussed the first results of implementing the regional export standard.
“We offered ourselves as a pilot region for the introduction of digitalization of WTO statistics. We want to collect export data in the Republic Management Center for operational work. He voiced this to Andrei Belousov. When developing measures for the development of the foreign economic activity, there is difficulty in providing information. Therefore, this pilot project will solve the problem. It was already approved by the Deputy Prime Minister - the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov when he came to Ufa. Now we are working on the regular transfer of data on the WTO in electronic form. Subsequently, this mechanism can be replicated in other regions. We will be happy to assist in agreeing with the Government of the Russian Federation,” Andrey Nazarov said in his telegram channel.
A regional concept for developing foreign economic activity, "Export 5S", was created in 2022. The republic maintains trade with 113 countries, and its volume for 11 months of 2022 amounted to $4.7 billion. Export accounts for more than 80% of trade turnover.
“We are coping with the task set by the President of the Russian Federation to double the volume of exports of non-commodity non-energy goods by 2024. A network of representatives of Bashkortostan abroad has been formed: in Belarus, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and China. Iran and the UAE will be added soon. Last year we organized 8 business missions to foreign countries (UAE, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Armenia, and Turkey). A regional export development program has been developed. This year, 170 million rubles are provided for its financing,” the Prime Minister of the Republican Government informed.
