The volume of investments in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects in the republic exceeded 88 billion rubles.
The mechanisms of Public-Private Partnership are being actively introduced in Bashkiria, Prime Minister of Bashkiria Andrey Nazarov said on his Telegram channel.
“We are actively implementing PPP mechanisms: we already have about 60 projects worth over 88 billion rubles. At the municipal level, 46 projects are being implemented with an investment of more than 12 billion rubles. These are good results,” the prime minister of the republican government stressed.
Signed large concessions include a project to create an interuniversity student campus in Ufa with an investment of about 27 billion rubles; projects for six schools in Ufa, Sterlitamak, and Neftekamsk for 10.5 billion rubles, as well as a project to build a year-round children's camp in Sibay for 3.5 billion rubles.
In addition, eight housing and communal services concessions were signed with the participation of the Russian National Wealth Fund for 3.2 billion rubles, Andrey Nazarov added.
Now the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic is working on six projects with an investment of about 60 billion rubles in healthcare, ecology, transport, and sports.
“We have extensive experience in implementing PPP projects in various fields of activity. This allows us to consistently enter the top twenty leaders among the regions of Russia. Over the past year, we have doubled the number of projects and investments compared to 2021. We continue to work, and we are sure that we will show even more impressive results,” summed up the Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria.
As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, the interuniversity student campus in Ufa, with a total area of more than 146,000 square meters of facilities to be created, will become a platform for attraction and integration of business, science, and advanced education.
“We hope the campus will give impetus to the progressive development of Bashkortostan. We have committed ourselves to launching the first stage at the end of 2023. "IQ-Park" should work. We now conduct weekly monitoring of work. If necessary, this can be done more often. We plan to complete the campus in 2025. There's still much work to be done. We will hold the “Hour of Science and Education” together with the working group that deals with the campus,” Andrey Nazarov said the day before at the government’s operational meeting at the Republic Management Center.
