"Bashkir Yards" program will begin in April and will affect 206 yards

Two months remain before the start of work on implementing the Bashkir Yards program. At the moment, competitive procedures are underway to select a contractor. According to the Republican Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities, work will begin in April and affect 206 households.

The program is financed as follows: 94% of the funds - from the budget of the republic, at least 5% - from the municipality’s budget, and at least 1% - at the owners’ expense. The decision to participate in the program is collective. The owners of the premises accept it at a general meeting. A commission composed of representatives of the administration and public organizations evaluates the features of the area and the need for improvement.

The residents choose the design project for the future yard at the meeting. After considering the residents’ proposal, specialists, considering compliance with regulatory requirements, form the terms of reference for the project. The final version is submitted for discussion by citizens, after which the primary work begins.

The mandatory list includes a playground with a safe rubber coating, a sports ground, landscaping, parking lots, asphalting of driveways and sidewalks, installation of an information stand, outdoor lighting, video surveillance, and small architectural forms.

All work will be guaranteed for at least 3 years. During this period, all defects will be corrected by the contractor. Shortly, lists of addresses of adjacent territories where landscaping will be carried out will be published on the websites of local administrations.
