Vladimir Putin instructed to expand industrial mortgage program
Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to extend industrial mortgages to projects for the construction and modernization of real estate needed for production.
“The Government of the Russian Federation should make decisions that ensure the extension of the industrial mortgage program to support the construction, modernization, and reconstruction of real estate objects used for industrial production purposes, as well as decisions that provide financing in the required amount of activities related to the implementation of this program,” noted in one of the items on the to-do list.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that loans under the industrial mortgage program would be issued for up to seven years at a preferential rate of 5% per annum. For technology companies, the rate will be even lower - 3% per annum. The maximum loan amount will be 500 million rubles. The right to such a mortgage will be given to enterprises that plan to buy ready-made areas for production.
